About me

Academic background

  • I completed a foundation degree with the Open University in 2017, for which I took a diverse selection of modules: ‘health and social care’, ‘Welsh’, ‘biology’, ‘music’, and ‘science of the mind’.

  • I then transferred to the University of Birmingham, where I achieved a distinction for my BPhil in Autism in 2019. For my dissertation I carried out research into ‘Autism and chronic pain conditions’.

  • I completed my Masters in Social Research (with distinction) in 2022, also at the University of Birmingham. My dissertation was on the topic of the overlap between ADHD and fibromyalgia.

  • I am currently undertaking a year-long training course with the iACTcenter and hope to qualify as a Certified ADHD life coach (CALC) in Spring 2023.
